This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information, including in connection with our SMS/text messaging program (A2P messaging) operated under applicable federal and state regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

4.2 How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages by completing a web form on roofcom.net, verbally consenting during a phone call or in-person meeting (with written confirmation to follow), or texting a designated keyword to our SMS short code or long code number.

4.3 How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent, except as required by law. 4.4 Message Frequency & Costs

Message frequency varies based on your service activity and preferences. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. RoofCom is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.

4.5 No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent will NOT be shared with, sold to, or used by any third party for their own marketing purposes. This data is used exclusively by RoofCom to communicate with you directly.

5. Sharing of Your Information

RoofCom does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not currently use third-party marketing platforms or data processors. We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or government regulation.
  • Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of RoofCom, our customers, or others.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it. We also do not direct SMS marketing to minors.

RoofCom operates its SMS program in full compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and all applicable FCC regulations. We obtain prior express written consent before sending marketing text messages, maintain opt-in and opt-out records, and honor all opt-out requests promptly. Transactional and informational messages (such as appointment reminders and job updates) are sent pursuant to an established business relationship and/or prior express consent.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services or SMS program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
